GROUPS

While Movement Groups meet during the school year, our Community Groups gather over the summer to continue sharing life together. Browse the groups below for your favorite hobby, sport, activity, or (fill in the blank) and make a few new friends while you’re at it!

  • When: Every Monday evening at 6:30pm - 8:30pm starting May 18th

    Where: Dexter Falls Park for the 1st time - 5901 Dexter Falls Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026. TBD after that.

    Group Leader: Drew Mitchell

    Description:  A weekly group to get together to play basketball and fellowship. We plan on playing outdoors when it’s nice out with the option of finding an indoor space if needed. Praying for a great opportunity to outreach to friends with an easy invite for some fun hooping!

  • Description: A casual backyard game night. The group will be co-ed and no experience is needed to join.

  • Description: The Faith in the Fairways group is for fellow golfers to come together and find community on the links. It will be a fun, relaxed environment where we can enjoy a summer day playing 18 holes. This is available for both men and women that are 18 or older. Each individual will pay for their own round of golf and cart fee.

    When: First round on Saturday, May 16th. We will play once each month on Saturday mornings from May-August.

    Where: Courses around the Columbus area (Mainly on the west side).

  • Description: Join the Caldwell family at a new park in the area each week where kids can play, adults can mingle and families can bring a picnic style dinner with them.

  • Description: This group is for men and young men (age 13+) who love fishing! The goal is to get out when we can this summer, try to catch a few fish, and enjoy God's creation.  Fishing will primarily be in Darby Creek (weather depending) but we may venture out to ponds/other locations.  We will try to wade, but also have kayaks available. You will need your own pole and gear.

  • Description: There are more scriptures in the Bible about money than there are about prayer and faith combined. Yet the percentage of Christians that manage their money using Biblical wisdom is relatively low.   • Description: A small group of women going through the Grace in Chaos bible study by Grace Daily Co. This is a 5-week bible study on “biblical hope for the hard days of motherhood”. Breakfast and coffee will be provided! Any age is welcome. Please purchase the study from thedailygraceco.com before the first meeting.

  • Description: Get together once a month to practice shooting firearms. Greg will lead the group through using different types of guns. You do not need to own a gun or have shooting experience to join. Men or women over 18 are welcome. You will need to bring your own ammunition, ear and eye protection.

    When: 9-11(ish)am May 30, June 27, July 25 and Aug 29.

    Where: The Tatman Backyard Range in Plain City

  • Description: Join us as we explore the Central Ohio Metro Parks with a regular 3–4 mile group hike. We aim to hit a different park each week. While everyone is welcome, please keep in mind that we often utilize natural surface trails that include roots and stairs, so some routes may not be suitable for strollers.

  • Description: Join Don and Kelli at their home to learn some of the basics of homesteading. Everyone will learn how to make their own beverages, lunchmeat, cheese, toiletries and how to preserve food. Any age or gender is welcome. Children need to be supervised by an adult. There may be a cost for certain projects/ supplies.

  • Description: If you are a stay at home mom, part time working mom, or a mom who is home on Fridays, this group is for you. We will spend time walking and talking at the park every Friday. Strollers & kiddos encouraged!

  • Description: This group will go through The Crescent Project: Bridges Program curriculum which was designed to help people understand Islam and be able to build relationships with their Muslim neighbors. Any age or gender is welcome to join. There may be a small cost ($15) for materials.

  • Description: A weekly group where we ride bikes along the Rails-to-Trails in Hilliard and celebrate our adventures with ice cream afterward. You ride whatever distance and speed you want to and we will affirm that you earned desert for your hard work.

  • Description: A 6 week overview of the big themes of Scripture, going from Genesis all the way to Revelation. We’ll talk about God, humans, sin, salvation, and other big topics - and see the way they unfold directly in the Bible. NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY! Come to learn and ask questions, and see stories come alive in a new way. All adults welcome, high schoolers welcome as well.

  • Description: This group is for people who want to meet every week, we will gather to play ultimate frisbee and hang out.

  • Description: This monthly gathering is a gentle, confidential space for women who are trying to conceive or walking through infertility. Whether this is a new journey or one you’ve been carrying for a long time, you don’t have to navigate it alone. This group is designed to be a place where you can come as you are—whether that means sharing openly or simply sitting quietly among others who understand. Together, we create space for honesty, encouragement, and support in a season that can often feel isolating.

    When: The first Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm starting June 3rd

    Where: Alternating between the hosts houses in Hilliard and Galloway
